Neil Zachs, DMD, MS

Following his residency, Dr. Zachs built a 21-year private practice career in New Jersey, growing his office into the largest periodontal specialty practice in his three-county area. He was also an assistant professor in the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine at UMDNJ. After selling his practice in 2015 and not at all ready to call it quits, he went out to Phoenix, AZ and joined a large “multi office” Endodontic practice where he built the Periodontal side. It became the first and largest Endo/Perio integrated care practice in the Greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area. But after 11 years there, he felt it was time to move back home!

In private practice, Dr. Zachs performs the full range of hard and soft tissue grafting procedures and frequently uses Platelet Rich Fibrin to aid bone growth and regeneration using the patient's own growth factors. During the course of his career, Dr. Zachs has placed over 20,000 implants. He is also certified in the Chao Pinhole Surgical Technique: a scalpel- and suture-free approach to correcting soft tissue defects. He is also credentialed with the University of California system as an attending doctor teaching surgical residents at UC San Francisco.

Dr. Zachs is excited about bringing his periodontal and surgical experience to patients in the Pioneer Valley, working alongside Dr. Quinta to continue offering patients the highest level of periodontal and implant care.
